Let’s Make This a Summer of Intention ☀️

This week marks our first official week of summer—no more school schedules, packed lunches, or alarms (well, mostly 😅). And with it, I’ve been thinking about all the things we hope to do this season. Fun plans, new habits, family goals, and maybe even a little reset.

But here’s something I’ve noticed—so often we have hopes and dreams for the summer that never actually turn into anything… because we don’t speak them out loud. We keep them in our heads, and without intention or action, they quietly fade.

Let’s change that this summer.

What if we were intentional about naming what matters to us—and taking small steps to bring those dreams to life?

Here’s a simple tip to get started:Take 5 minutes and write down your top 3 intentions for this summer. Not a huge list—just 3 things you want to do, experience, or move toward.

Research shows you're 42% more likely to achieve your goals just by writing them down. That simple act moves a dream from your head into real life.

Bonus tip:Share your goals or intentions with a family member or someone you trust. Even a little accountability makes a big difference. And sharing it with someone also makes it more likely that you will be successful with reaching your desired goal.

📖 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” – Proverbs 16:3

✨ Also—something exciting! I’m putting together a live virtual workshop for moms with older kids or those starting to become "empty nesters" at the end of the month all around this exact topic: intention-setting, clarity, and creating new habits that stick.

If you’d like a personal invite or know someone who would love to join this event, just send me an email and I’ll make sure you’re one of the first to get the details. 💛

Here’s to a summer that’s not just full—but purposeful. 🌼
